STEM News
Congratulations to all our 2024 STEM students who have worked extremely hard on their projects throughout the year, especially the Year 4, 5 and 6 students whose projects were entered into the STA NSW Young Scientist Competition.
A special mention goes to three students from Yr 6, Caylenne S, Lily E & Mia K-B, who won a special award for their Young Scientist Research Project ‘POV You Step On Lego’. The students, parents, Dr Simon Crook and I attended the STA NSW Young Scientist Awards Presentation Ceremony which was held at UTS on Friday evening, 22 November. It was an exciting evening for the students, who were presented with their certificates by Dr. James Wallman, Dean, Faculty of Science, UTS in recognition of their achievement in the 2024 Young Scientist Research Competition. Thank you to Dr. Simon Crook, who assisted me and gave all our Year 4-6 STEM students excellent guidance throughout the year.
