Annual Service of Carols

Yesterday, each of our six houses held their annual Service of Carols.

At this time in the thirty-first year of Girton Grammar School Bendigo and the one hundred and forty-first year since the original Girton was founded by Mrs. Aherne and Miss Hill (later Mrs. Millward), it is fitting and proper for the School to come together in worship, praise and thanksgiving.

At Girton, we have much to be joyous about and much to be thankful for as this year of our School comes to a close. Our students and staff have grown in numbers and in success. Our relationships with the wider community whom we serve continue to prosper.

We would like to thank every member of our community for donating a toy or gift to place under the christmas tree this year. We wish you all a merry christmas!

Valedictory Celebrations: The Class of 2024

Last Friday night, we farewelled the Class of 2024 with a memorable Valedictory Celebration at Chateau Dore. It was a night filled with laughs and cherished memories, shared with family and lifelong friends. To our newest Old Girtonians, we can't wait to hear of the journeys ahead of you and wish you the best of luck in your future endeavours.

Co-connect

After completing their exams, students in Years 7 to 10 enjoyed their first Co-connect electives week, getting to choose from a range of activities to undertake. From sewing and knitting to cartoon drawing and board games, students had the chance to explore new activities and pick up some exciting new skills.
