Prep Music and Drama Evening

Last Tuesday, the Preparatory students participated in their Music and Drama Evening.  This was the students' first performance in front of an audience of adoring family and friends. The evening began with the students presenting a short play to the story ‘Tiddalick The Frog’, where the students took on the role of various characters such as echidnas, kookaburras, wombats, eels and, of course, Tiddalick the Frog. Next, the students showcased multiple skills they have been learning in Music this year. This included using actions to represent the tone and form of music, demonstrating a head and chest voice, and how to stand in a performance position. The highlight of the evening involved the students performing the 'Peanut' song with their parents.

Friends of Junior School Teacher Appreciation Lunch

We wish to express our sincere thanks to the Friends of Junior School and the parents who ran a Teacher Appreciation Lunch this week, as well as those who volunteered their time to help assist.

Hi families,

There is so much fun to be had at OSHC! The end of the term is fast approaching, and we are wrapping up another year. How fast it has gone!

Over the last few weeks, children have engaged with sensory activities, slime, Gelli Baff, paper crafts, painting and water play with moving turtles, as well as games of chess, Connect4 and Monopoly Jr.

We are looking forward to the last week of term and all our celebrations. We will have our OSHC parties on Tuesday 3 and Thursday 5 December. Come along to see what is planned and watch a slideshow of our year go by. Our fun, learning and growth will be on display for all to see.

Please note Miss Jillie will be absent on Thursday 28 and Friday 29 November and Monday 2 December. Our lovely Educator Alexis O’Hara-Webb will be covering, who has been at our service a few times now.

We hope to see you in OSHC!

Miss Jillie
