CEPS Parents Committee AGM

All parents are welcome to attend our CEPS Parent’s Committee Annual General Meeting this Monday on 18 Nov at 7pm.

Our Parent’s Committee, made up of dedicated parent volunteers, plays a vital role in fundraising for our school. Events like Special Food Days, Trivia Nights, and the Colour Run raise funds that directly support essential improvements, such as air conditioners and ground enhancements, while also contributing to various school projects.

Getting involved is a fantastic way to connect with other parents and be an active part of our community. There’s no set time commitment – attending the monthly evening meetings and contributing ideas is a great start! You can also help with a couple of events throughout the year. The more volunteers we have, the easier and more enjoyable it becomes for everyone!

If you’re interested, please join us at a meeting to learn more. You can also join at any time throughout the year – just ask at the office, and they’ll connect you with a Committee Member.

We’d love to see you there!

Late Arrivals & Early Leavers

We kindly remind families of the importance of arriving at school on time and minimising early departures. Late arrivals disrupt not only your child’s learning but also that of their peers, while early departures can impact end-of-day routines.

If your child arrives late, please ensure they check in at the office and collect a LATE PASS before heading to class. Similarly, if your child needs to leave early, they must be signed out at the school office before being collected at their classrooms.

Thank you for your cooperation in supporting a positive, punctual start to each school day

and helping us manage early departures efficiently and safely.

Working with Children Checks

We welcome parents and guardians who would like to volunteer at Cheltenham East Primary School! Your involvement in school activities is a wonderful way to support our students and staff. To ensure a safe environment for everyone, all volunteers are required to hold a current Working with Children Check (WWCC).

To apply for a WWCC:

Click here: Working with Children Check to start your application. Be sure to link your check to Cheltenham East Primary School during the process.

For VIT Card Holders:

If you are a parent with a current VIT Card, please follow this link: Service Victoria | Teacher Notification to notify Working with Children Check Victoria of your child-related volunteer role at our school. This helps us stay updated with your records.

To update your details:

If you need to make any changes to your WWCC information, please update through this link: Working with Children Check - Update Details.

Please note: Without a valid and current WWCC, you will not be able to participate in volunteer activities at the school.

Thank you for your cooperation in helping us create a safe and engaging environment for our students!

Second Hand Uniform Donations

A big thank you to all the families who donated their second-hand uniforms. We received an incredible response, and even more so from the 2025 Foundation parents eager to purchase these items.

If you still have clean, gently used CEPS uniforms in good condition, we are always accepting donations to support our community. Your contributions make a big difference!
