Remembrance Day
On Remembrance Day, our school community came together to honour and reflect on the sacrifices made by so many.
At the Cheltenham and Moorabbin RSL Ceremony, Mrs Ward and our school captains proudly represented our school, showcasing our commitment to remembering those who served. Meanwhile, during our at-school ceremony, our House Captains led us in a heartfelt tribute, helping everyone participate in this important occasion.
A big thank you to Mrs Ward for her coordination of both events, and to Mrs Digby for managing the audio during our school ceremony. Your efforts made this day special and memorable for all of us.
Thank you also to the students and staff who purchased items from the office in support of the Poppy Appeal. For more than 100 years, RSL Victoria has supported veterans and their families who have been impacted by their service and sacrifice. Generously supported, this special fundraising campaign enables Victorians to give something back to those who give and have given so much to us all.

School Start Time
I would like to provide an important reminder concerning the arrival time for students on school grounds before the commencement of the school day.
Our school's duty of care begins at 8.40am at which point our staff are supervising the school grounds. Until this time, it is imperative that students are not onsite without appropriate supervision. This protocol is in place to safeguard our students and minimise any potential safety concerns.
We kindly request that students refrain from arriving before 8.40am unless they are under the direct supervision of a parent or carer. It is necessary for parents and carers to ensure that their children are not left unsupervised on school grounds before this designated time.
For families requiring early drop-off options, we offer the Team Kids before school program, providing a safe and engaging environment for students before the start of the school day. This program ensures that students are under the supervision of trained staff and can participate in various activities until school commences.
By adhering to these guidelines, we collectively contribute to creating a secure and safe environment for all our students. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding in prioritising the safety and well-being of our school community.
If you have any questions or require further clarification regarding our arrival procedures, please don't hesitate to contact the school.
Kiss and Go - Ensuring Community Safety
This is a reminder of the importance of adhering to the 'Kiss and Go' signage installed on Silver St last year improve community safety, in particular student safety during the busy 3.30pm pick-up period. Unfortunately, several parents/carers are continuing to park in these spaces for durations well beyond the designated 2-minute limit. The Kingston Council has provided some information below for your reference. Due to increased safety concerns, the council has also advised that their law enforcement team will be patrolling this area during pick-up periods. In addition, we will be reinforcing with students the importance of using our many manned school crossings at all times. We ask families to continue this conversation at home.
Sick Bay and First Aid
Please be advised that in alignment with our Administration of Medication Policy, no analgesics are able to be provided to students onsite, by our staff.
