Dear Parents / Carers,
What a wonderful year it has been! Thank you to the Rowville Primary School community for the way you have supported our students this year. Plans are well underway for next year and our calendar is quickly filling with events. We look forward to welcoming our 2025 community with our Welcome to School BBQ and Parent Information night which will be held early in Term One.
2024 Student Reflections
My favourite thing about this year was the Colour Run! I loved all the colours and I loved running with my friends. Olivia O Foundation
I love writing! I love coming up with different ideas – my best idea was Stretchy Man. I published an adventure story about Stretchy Man. Jack C Year One
This year I have learnt lots of new things – particularly in maths. I have really loved playing lots of maths games that helped me with different skills. In Year Two we are more responsible and use our laptops for publishing, for research in How the World Works and also to play some amazing maths games. Kyran G Year Two
Year Three all work together so well, we are one big team! I have enjoyed all of the learning, particularly writing. I loved sharing our writing at the Writer’s Showcase, because everyone was so proud of what they had published. Beyond Boundaries was incredible, all of the activities really stretched us to communicate and work as a team. Isabelle B Year Three
This year has been amazing! I loved maths because we learnt so much through games, even though it was challenging it was great. I liked writing because I experimented with new styles of writing, and they all had their own challenges. This year, our inquiries in How The World Works have been really interesting. The best thing has been having opportunities to be a leader in Year Four. Paddy S Year Four
The best thing about this year has been moving in to the Senior School and making lots of new friends. Year Five Beyond Boundaries was amazing! We built new friendships and challenged ourselves. The biggest challenge was raft building – we had to work together and show lots of perseverance. Amelia D Year Five
I really enjoyed being a part of the school production this year. It was fantastic being on stage acting, working with new people and developing new skills. It has been a privilege to be a school leader and to work with the other school captains. I have become better at public speaking and at being a leader. Nishi S Year Six
