Year 10 Work Experience Reminder:
Year 10 students, don’t forget to submit your paperwork to Miss Moorby early next week. This paperwork is essential to confirm your placement. If you need assistance or have questions about the process, please see Miss Moorby as soon as possible.
Parents of Year 10 students please encourage your child to undertake a work experience that is not where they currently work, this is an opportunity for them to broaden their skills and learn about a career they may like to do when they leave school.
Upcoming Career Skills Sessions for Students
We’re excited to announce that after the yearly exams, we’ll be offering a series of career related sessions designed to help students build essential skills for the workplace and beyond! These workshops are open to all high school students and cover a range of valuable topics, including:
Resume Writing: Learn how to create a standout resume that highlights your skills and experience.
Understanding Tax: Get a basic understanding of how tax works, from filing returns to understanding deductions.
Interview Preparation: Tips and practice for nailing job interviews, including common questions, how to make a great first impression, and strategies to boost your confidence.
Schedule: These sessions will be held after the exam period. Dates and times will be posted on the school noticeboard, so keep an eye out!
Sign-Up: Interested students will be able to sign up in the AMPS staffroom.
