Principal's Message

Dear Families,

I had the pleasure of attending the first Grade 12 Graduation Assembly at MacKillop College last week. A message that stood out was the quote from Mary MacKillop: "Never see a need without doing something about it." This is a value we continue to share and discuss with our students.

At John Paul II Catholic School, we see this spirit in action every day. Students who aspire to become school leaders when they reach Grade 5 and Grade 6 especially benefit from displaying this attitude. Our students regularly support one another when someone is feeling down, volunteer to help pack away lunch tables, and stand up for others in times of need. By instilling this message early on, we give our students the foundation to grow into compassionate and thoughtful individuals. 

We have a vacant position on the School Advisory Board that we will be looking to fill in early 2025. We are looking for members of the community with specific skills or knowledge that would be of benefit for all of our students.
