Yr 12 release of results

The HSC results and ATARS are due to be released on Wednesday 18th December. We will give an overview of the results at the beginning of 2025. We hope that students are rewarded for hard work and effort, noting that many students have already received Early Entry offers in their chosen field of study. Congratulations to all students and to the staff who have supported them.

Year 12 2025 Assessment

Students recently were directed to the McCarthy Curriculum website which gives them access to the 2024/2025 HSC Assessment schedule for each course offered at the college. This is pinned to their School Resources tab in COMPASS. They also received a booklet titled 2025 Rules and Procedures Guide from NESA - NSW Education Standards Authority. Students are reminded that assessment is governed by NESA.

Year 7-10 Semester 2 Reports and Yr 11/12 Progress Reports

Semester 2 reports for Years 7-10 and Progress Reports for 11/12 were released via Compass on Monday.

Literacy

This year, consistent and coherent literacy instruction remained a key focus across all areas of teaching and learning. Students have made great strides in improving their literacy skills, supported by dedicated teachers who have guided them toward achieving their personal learning goals. Reading results continue to show a positive upward trend, reflecting the hard work of both students and staff. As the holiday period approaches, we encourage all students to enjoy some quality reading time with good books, fostering a love of reading and strengthening their literacy skills in a fun and relaxing way.

Finally, thank you to all students and staff for your efforts this year. Have a safe, and joyful Christmas and enjoy the holiday break. We look forward to continuing the collaborative work in 2025.
