From the Year 5 Classroom

Students have spent the past week presenting their leadership speeches in preparation for leadership roles in 2025. Each presentation was impressive, highlighting their potential as future Year 6 leaders. 

This week students will be participating in a dance practice for the concert on Friday. It will be great to see their performance! 

In Reading and Writing, students have been exploring Traditional Tales and analysing key messages. They have begun planning and composing their own fables, which will incorporate their buddy's name, to be shared on December 10th during our orientation morning. 

This week you will receive an email outlining details of our Secret Santa, which will be held on the last day of school, along with other end of year celebrations. 

In RE, students have worked in pairs to create a poster centered on a Feast of the Christmas Season. They are proud of the work they have produced.
