Yr 5/6 Maths Stars

Congratulations to twelve of our Year 5/6 students who participated in the Melbourne University Research and Statistics competition earlier in the year.

There were over 500 group entries from across Australia and New Zealand from Yrs 5-10.

We had four groups participate and three of the groups received a Merit award and one group recieived a Participation award. 

St.Peter's was also scored in the top 41% of the Yr 5/6 entries. 

What an amazing achievement!

Thank you students for all your effort, team work and curiosity into math problem solving.

Thank you to Mrs Chamberlain and Mrs Bowen for a wonderful year of math instruction and engagement for these senior students.

I wish all the students well, particularly the Yr 6 students as they head into secondary education, I hope they continue to enjoy mathematics learning and be open to the possiblities. WELL DONE!
