The Holy Spirit is the gentle whisper guiding us, the light illuminating our path, and the strength within that lifts us toward love, peace, and truth.

Gospel Reading

John 18:33

Jesus is questioned by Pilate about the charge brought against him that he is “King of the Jews.”

We call Jesus our King, but he is not like the kings and queens of countries. He is a different kind of king.

In today’s Gospel, Pontius Pilate asks Jesus if he is a king. Read to see how Jesus responds.

esus told Pontius Pilate that his kingdom did not belong to this world. Jesus was not an earthly king. He is the king of heaven, our Lord and Savior. He came to teach us the truth about God the Father’s love and forgiveness and to save us from our sins. He shows us how to live.

We believe that Jesus is our king, but his kingdom is heaven. He is a heavenly king who shows us how to live. All who believe in him want to obey him because they know he teaches us how to be truly happy.

Dear Parents/ Carers,

On Sunday, 24th November, the students from Foundation are rostered to participate at the 9.00am Parish Mass at St Peter’s Catholic Church. All students from Foundation are invited to attend with their families, you do not have to be Catholic to participate. We would love to see all students and their families present.

The students will be involved in a variety of jobs prior to Mass and after Mass so it is important that they are present by 8:50 am.  Families are invited to bring a plate of morning tea to share with parishioners and friends. Please bring the shared morning tea on a disposable plate or in a clearly marked container to the parish hall before 9.00am. We ask no food containing nuts be brought.

Thank you to our wonderful parent volunteers who have agreed to coordinate morning tea for us:

Mr Piyush Philip and Mrs Jeanette Jose

Please contact any one of them to let them know what you will be bringing or if you have any questions.

This is a wonderful initiative to build partnerships between the families and students of St Peter’s Primary School with the parishioners of St Peter’s Parish Church. It is also a school expectation which is a part of our curriculum and brings us together as a Parish and School Community. It is an expectation that parents are with their children during the Mass.

Kind regards,

 Ms Low and Mrs DeVisser

Grade 3-4 R/ L students having their scheduled visits with Fr Andrew to unpack Scripture and Wondering Questions

Thank you Father Andrew,  for taking the time to visit our classrooms and engage with our students. Your presence has been such a blessing, and your thoughtful answers to their wondering questions have inspired curiosity and deepened their understanding of our faith. By sharing your knowledge and stories, you’ve made the teachings of Christ come alive in their hearts and minds.

We look forward to welcoming you more often into our school.

Blessings,
