Staff End of Year Professional Learning
As 2023 draws to a close, we are busy preparing our resources and curriculum for 2024. On the 13th and 14th of December, staff will be preparing for 2024 in their Learning Teams. Part of this is ensuring all curriculum and assessments are reviewed and updated as well as incorporating new activities and topics into the curriculum to continue our work in providing engaging learning activities for our students.

We are still looking for two more teachers and a POL for 2024. I am confident we will fill these positions prior to the commencement of the 2024 year.
Professional Culture and Growth
Over the course of 2023, our staff have been working on building their professional capacity through a series of colleague led workshops each fortnight on a Thursday afternoon. The feedback has been very positive with the short, specifically focused and informal nature of these workshops and the calibre of presentations has exceeded my expectations when I first submitted this concept to our staff.
Thank you to all of our staff who have led workshops this year and we look forward to continuing this collegial practice in 2024.
