Principal News

Dear Sacred Heart Community

Prayer

We continue to ask for your prayers for our Year Three student Samantha. In some great news, this week Samantha has started to drink some water for the first time and was seen mouthing some of the words to her favourite singer Taylor Swift when the nursing staff were performing their nightly sing along. Your prayers are working and are much needed as Samantha shows inspiring courage.

A big thank you from Damira to all our parents both present and past, who have so kindly donated items of food and money. Your generosity has helped Damira immeasurably and she is so so grateful.

Christmas Carols

A big reminder that our Christmas Carols take place in the school grounds next Thursday 7th December. The forecast is looking positive so remember to bring a rug to sit on. We are asking for a gold coin donation that will be given to our parish chapter of the St Vincent De Paul Society. Our parish St Vincent De Paul group do great work helping families in our local community.

Our Christmas Raffle will be drawn at the Christmas Carols. Tickets will be sold each night after school leading up to the carols.

Welcome William

A big welcome to our new Year One student William who has joined our school community. I know our Sacred Heart community will make William and his mum and dad Diana and Patrick have a sense of how much they belong.

Our First Foundation Student For 2024 In His Uniform

Joshua gets the "prize" for being our first 2024 foundation student to purchase his school uniform for next year. As you can see from his photo, Joshua just loves his uniform and can't wait for the 30th January to start school.
