Year 5 National Agriculture Day Incursion

Year 5 were lucky to have the opportunity to experience an incursion this morning with Georgia Campbell who is the Senior Project Manager for NSW Farmers.

It was an interactive presentation around sustainability and feeding the future growing population. There was specific emphasis on precision agriculture.

It was wonderful to see so many students engage in the session and ask key questions around the future of farming.

Georgia has kindly left us many resources to use both now and in the future. She also has given the students their own seeds to plant and grow.

We have spoken about the opportunity of working together again next year, and possibly even visiting one of the farms Georgia oversees.
