Literacy

Book Club: Orders must be in by Friday December 1st. 

Library: We have lots of new books ready to borrow. These books were selected by the student librarians at the recent book fair. The school was able to purchase these books using the rewards that were accumulated through our fair.  Every purchase that family's make at our fairs or book club, contributes to our Scholastic reward pool, and allows us to keep our library shelves flourishing. 

Borrowing: 

This summer holidays the Frankston library will be closed for renovations. As such, we are encouraging our students to borrow 2 books in the final week of school, and return these in the first week back in 2024. 

Students are only allowed 2 books at a time therefore it is important for them to return their books to be able to issue new ones. Please have a good look at home for any books that need to be returned to school. 

Returning School Books:

All literacy readers and class novels need to be returned by Monday 11th December. 

Grade 6 and any students leaving the school will also need to return all library books by this date.

Please inform the classroom teacher if your child has misplaced a book so that we can update our library system.
