Basketball

Congratulations to our four College teams that participated in the Basketball Tasmania Regional High School Championships.  

 

Whilst some of the results didn't all go our way, true Team sVc spirit of grit, determination and sportsmanship was clearly on display for all to witness.

 

Well done to our two Div 1 teams (Year 7/8 - 3rd, Year 9/10 - 2nd) who have now qualified to play in the State High School Championships at the Elphin Sports Centre in Launceston, this weekend.

A massive thank you to all our College staff and volunteer coaches and managers for their time and dedication to our boys.

SATIS State Wide T20 Tournament

Congratulations to Team sVc for finishing in 3rd place in the 2023 State-wide SATIS T20 Cricket Tournament. A fantastic result with a very young squad. With a few more crucial moments going our way and the title was in reach.

Saunders Di Venuto Shield

Congratulations to Team sVc, victorious in the 2023 Di Venuto-Saunders Shield.

Volleyball

Congratulations to Team sVc for taking out the Year 9/10 SSATIS Volleyball Title last Thursday, defeating Hilliard Christian School in a pulsating final.

The team has improved dramatically this year under the expert coaching and mentoring from Mr Aaron Tan.  A mighty effort in the second year of the roster and first time entry by the Team sVc. Well done boys.

Touch Football

Congratulations to Team sVc White, winners of the Term 4 Year 7/8 SSATIS Touch Football roster, defeating MacKillop College 9-5 in the final earlier this week at Wentworth Park.

2023 Tasmanian Schools Triathlon Challege

Congratulations to the strong team of 26 students that participated in the High School Triathlon last Thursday.

 

Well done to all our boys for giving their all in somewhat trying conditions at times.

Return of Sport Specific Uniforms

As we approach the end of the school year, please return any sport specific tops (namely AFL, Soccer and Cricket) that have been borrowed from the sports department.  Please either drop them into the Main Administration Office, Student Services or directly to the Sports Department.
