2024 Level WhatsApp groups

We are excited to announce the introduction of our 2024 level Whats App groups.

2024 families, please use your phone to scan the QR code appropriate to your child's 2024 level to join the group. Each level currently has a parent representative. The role of the parent representative is to regularly check in with teachers and post anything on the chat that is helpful to families in remembering all the many things happening at HEPS. It is important that all families read the norms below before agreeing to join the group.

To find your 2024 level, please scroll down and scan.

2024 Whats App norms

The purpose of this group is to share information and keep us up to date with events relevant to our level. By joining this group, you agree to be respectful and courteous. All participants will be friendly and kind in their messaging. As this is not an official school channel, any questions about the general running of the school from an academic or Education Department perspective or involving any staff member should be raised with the school leadership.

The purpose of this group is to share information; any disagreements between people in the chat will be resolved offline and outside of the group. We all acknowledge that any message that is deemed by the level representative (s) to not meet these rules will be deleted. Continued failure to abide by the rules will result in the removal of the offending person (s) or the disbanding of the group.

Here is what the poster says -

Are you wondering what to do with your shoes from Production? Here's a recommendation. We will be having a whole school shoe swap. The idea is that you bring your outgrown shoes and swap them for your own size. Can HEPS save the world one shoe at a time? For more information, this is happening in 2024 closer to when t

Mensa Kids Monthly Library at the Docks Games Days Events (on the first Sunday of every month) are designed to give our Young Mensans a fun and engaging opportunity to connect with other kids on their level.

The Mensa Kids team facilitate a range of larger group games (like Throw Throw Burrito and One Night Ultimate Werewolf ) to help introduce the kids to each other, then once they start having fun and get comfortable we encourage them to get to know each other better with some smaller group games like chess, Uno and Jenga.

🕛 When: 12.30pm until 3:30pm (please feel free to come and go as you like between the event times and while we will be running games until 3.30pm, many Young Mensans like to stay on and hang out on the playground after)

🗺️ Where: Library at the Dock, 107 Victoria Harbour Promenade, Docklands VIC 3008 (Level 1, Activities Room)

🍎Food: We encourage everyone to have lunch prior, but we like to ensure some basic snacks are on hand to keep the kid's energy up (fruit platter, salad wraps, muesli bars and water bottles). If you are able to assist in bringing any of these along please let us know.

♟️Games: A range of favourites including Jenga, Exploding Kittens, chess, table tennis, Unstable Unicorns, Throw Throw Burrito and One Night Ultimate Werewolf are available but please feel free to bring any additional games along that the kids might enjoy
