Hoop time State finals 

HEPS is very proud of our Future Stars basketball team. They competed in the regional finals this week and made it to the State finals in early December. As always, our students showed outstanding teamwork, resilience, and respect. Playing nine games throughout the day certainly made them very tired. We would like to thank our parents, who drove the students to the Mill Park venue and supported our students on the day. 

Diwali 

Last week some of our students spoke about Diwali. They spoke confidently about how their families acknowledge traditions. Our school enjoyed listening to how Diwali is celebrated, about henna designs and traditional dress. We all joined in with the dance performance. Thank you to these students for sharing their culture. We loved learning from you.

Science Talent Search

We were pleased to present two of our Science Talent Search participants with their bursary awards last week. Ramis received a Major Bursary award for his working model and Nicholas received a Minor Bursary award for his poster submission. We are very proud of their achievements.
