Advent: A Time of Anticipation and Hope

As we near Advent, the children have helped us further decorate LS1. The Before School children enjoyed sticking up tinsel to the junior and senior homegroup screens. 

As we eagerly anticipate the arrival of warmer summer weather, the children have been enjoying extra special treats to brighten their afternoons! This week, our kitchen was buzzing with creativity, bringing forth a delightful array of hot and yummy afternoon snacks.

Our young adventurers had the pleasure of savouring the deliciousness of hot potato bake, with its crispy edges and creamy centre—a perfect comfort food for these transitional days. The taste buds also danced with joy as we served up tasty toast, adorned with a variety of toppings that sparked excitement and smiles.

But the fun didn't stop there! We added a healthy twist to our snack time with sweet-potato fries, offering a flavourful and nutritious alternative that had some serving themselves asking for more.

 We've acquired a set of new Christmas games for the kids to enjoy, including two thrilling 100-piece puzzles, a matching pairs game, and a Christmas bingo game. Additionally, starting next week, we'll kick off our "Smallest Elf On The Shelf" game in LS1.

As we continue to explore and embrace the changing seasons, we strive and commit to provide a nurturing and engaging environment. We appreciate the trust you've placed in us to nurture and support the happiness and development of your children.
