Aussie Backyard Bird Count

And we're joining in! The Green Team will have an opportunity to partake in the Aussie Backyard Bird Count on Tuesday 17th October. We are inviting you to join in the bird count with your family too. 

 

The count happens between 16-22 October. By giving 20 minutes of your time, you can make a difference to Bird Life Australia’s conservation work and count the birds that are counting on you. Download the Aussie Bird Count app to get involved.

ACF Wild at Art Finalist!

Congratulations to all our ASPS Wild at Art competition winners! Jakob entered his into the ACF competition and is a finalist! You can vote for Jakob's work online for the People's Choice Awards.

Grasslands Ecospace

Have you seen that part of the front playground (around the side) has been sectioned off? We're regenerating the grasslands there. The Green Team celebrated the end of term with a grass seed spreading session. Thank you to our First Nations Ecologist consultant Dean Stewart for the Indigenous grass seeds.

We also picked up the litter to ensure we Care for Country.

Green Team meetings are on Tuesday lunch times in 5B's classroom - everyone is welcome to join us!

Boroondara’s first ever electrification and energy efficiency expo - a great opportunity to learn how you can start or continue your electrification journey.

  • Plan to visit the Electric Vehicle showcase to look at EVs and/or test ride an ebike. 
  • View the induction cooking demonstrations.
