Reminders
Hats & Water Bottles:
Don't forget to bring a hat for Term 4 and a refillable water bottle.
MBSC Trivia Night:
Thursday 12th October, West Peak Hotel in the function room., 5.30 - 8.30pm. $15 per ticket. Finger food included, soft drink avaiable to purchase. Table bookings at the office. Permission via Compass (event to be today). Opt in and pay in Compass. Tables of 4-8 people. Provide team name and team members by Monday 9th October.
Music:
Instrumental music: Instrumental lessons begin as previously scheduled today (Monday) and band resumes Thursday afternoon.
Student Exec and Events sub-committee:
Meeting Tuesday. 1pm in Room 1; bring your lunch. Please be prompt.
Learn to crochet a hacky sack:
Wednesdays at about 1pm in Room 24. Bring your lunch.
Library laptops:
COLLECT A LAPTOP BEFORE HOMEGROUP STARTS. Please make sure you log out and turn off the laptops before returning to prevent logon issues for the next person.
Planner use:
All students were given a planner at the start of the year and it must be taken to all classes. Planners must be signed by the teacher before leaving class and will be signed on your return.
Uniform:
Hats, non-uniform jumpers (without a note to your HG teacher) and phones:
1. When you arrive at school, you take your hat/beanie and non-uniform jumper off and put them in your locker with your phone.
2. Broad brimmed hats must be worn outside in Terms 1 and 4. Caps are not allowed.
3. When you come in after breaks, all hats need to be put back in your locker before you go to class. NB: You can use your phone to pay at the Caf, but it will be stored securely until the end of the day.
Phones at school:
The updated policy has some changes to consequences. All phones are returned at the end of each day.
1st offence: Device handed to office.
2nd offence: Device handed to office. Phone call home.
3rd offence: Device handed to office. Phone call home. Phone to be handed in daily for a week.
Continuous offence: In-school suspension, negotiation with home for a positive outcome.
