Acting Principals Message

Junior House Athletics Day

On Wednesday 18th October, the Prep, Year 1 and 2 students participated in a variety of athletics activities on the school oval. We were very fortunate to have a beautiful Melbourne spring day, with lots of sunshine! I was privileged to be able to welcome students and was very impressed with the their responses, when asked what they believed the purpose of the day was.  Students shared " have fun", "have a go (risk taker)", "encourage each other", and "be principled".  Thank you to the PE team, classroom teachers and student leaders for providing the students with a challenging, exciting and inclusive physical activity event. Additionally, thank you to the parents who attended and supported  all the students.

Student Class Placement for 2024

At this time of the year I create an opportunity for parents to email me about any concerns they have about their child’s class placement for the following year. Parents may have concerns about their child’s social, emotional, or educational needs that they would like to be taken into consideration by school leadership as we form the class groups. I have allocated a three-week period for this beginning on Friday, 20 October and concluding on Friday, 10 November.  Any previous concerns have been shredded, therefore a new request must be put in writing to me : bianca.gatherum@education.vic.gov.au

Hats

All students are reminded to wear a hat while outside throughout Term 4. Parents are asked to check that their children have a hat in their school bags each day so that able to join in with outdoor play and Physical Education.
