The Children's Program

We had been using so much sticky tape, we ran out, so now we are a sticky tape free term. We have interesting alternatives, including, string, staplers, glue and some children like viewing origami tutorials on YouTube. Our making area is setup so the children can chose what they want to make, create how they want and learn how to problem solve in a fun way.

Before Care

The main games and activities for the mornings are, chess, costumes for filming - dress ups, beading and Hama beads, reading, tennis, soccer making film trailers using an app.

Aftercare

Lots of making, building and outdoors playing, chalk drawing outside, taking silly photos of each other and more!

Inside their has been some more upcycling and recycling cork backed placements with rainbow shimmer paper and PVA/paint. One of the children remembered this from last year and decided to make some more for their family this year.

If you have any ideas for recycling for OSHC give us a call or email us. iposhc@ivanhoeps.vic.gov.au  and phone: 9499 5226
