On Wednesday, September 13th, all the students from Prep to Grade 6 went to Sunray Warriors. We travelled on a bus and when we arrived, we learnt about different flora and fauna - those are flowers and animals, and about how to conserve water.
We talked about the types of fish and what they do on the river, and we learnt how to be safe around boats and fires.
There were activities with Hula Hoops which was very fun! There was a lot to do.
"My favourite activity was seeing water flow in and out of our river system using the Interactive Murray River Model." - Juliet Jones
"My favourite activity was being a predator (I was a fox) and catching all my friends to see what happens to the native animals as the number of predators increases." - Emmie Scholar
"My favourite activity was looking for water bugs. We had to keep the water very still so we could find them. We found a lot of different types of bugs, even red ones." - Levi Kelleher
