Joke of the Week
It was a stifling hot day and a man fainted in the middle of a busy intersection.
Traffic quickly piled up in all directions, so a woman rushed to help him.
When she knelt down to loosen his collar, a man emerged from the crowd,
pushed her aside, and said,
"It's all right honey, I've had a course in first aid."
The woman stood up and watched as he took the ill man's pulse and prepared to administer artificial respiration.
At this point she tapped him on the shoulder and said,
"When you get to the part about calling a doctor, I'm already here."
Sport Uniform - Term 4
Please note that all children will be required to wear their sport uniforms this term on Tuesdays (dance lessons) and Thursdays (swimming). Full school uniform is to be worn on all other days.
New Veggie Patch!
Have you visited our beautiful new garden next to the Yr 5/6 classroom?
A huge THANK YOU goes out to the wonderful students from Emmaus College who created our new vegetable garden. In the last week of Term 3, a group of Yr 12 students (lead by their teacher, Mr Scott Eddington, and Maree from Bunnings) cleared out the space, built raised garden beds and planted a wide range of vegetables and herbs. The whole area is thriving and we are so excited to see everything growing so well. They have transformed the area into a lovely, relaxing place to sit in and enjoy. We are looking forward to harvesting some delicious things to eat over the coming months, including lemons and olives!
Thank you to Bunnings for providing the garden beds and plants and to the students and teachers at Emmaus College for all of their dedication and hard work.

Holy Saviour Mums WhatsApp Group
The "Holy Saviour Mums" WhatsApp group is a parent initiative designed to share information and communicate with one another. If you would like to join the group and stay in the loop please contact Denise Konstantinou (0414 990 344) and she will add you to the group. You don't have to be a mum to join...Dads are welcome too!
Excel Music Lessons At Holy Saviour
Excel Music will once again be offering music lessons at Holy Saviour. All children enrolled in 2022 will automatically be re-enroled in 2023. Excel Music will contact you directly with any additional information.
If your child is interested in music lessons, Excel Music provides private or group music lessons in guitar, keyboard or drums during school hours. If you are interested, please complete an enrolment form and return it either to the office or email it directly to music@excelmusic.com.au. More information about Excel Music can be found here.

Holy Saviour Playgroup
Please note that Playgroup is now on Tuesday mornings 9am - 11am. All babies and preschoolers are welcome. So come along and meet some parents for a cuppa while the children have a play. Please pass on this flyer to any families who might be interested.
