St Edward's Representative Shirts
Please keep a lookout for these in your cupboards, school bags, dirty clothes baskets, even under beds. We are still missing a considerable amount of shirts which will be required to be handed back in this term.
Polding Athletics Championships
Good luck to the following nine students who will be travelling to Sydney today to compete in the Polding Athletics Championships tomorrow, Friday 13th October, at Sydney Olympic Park. We wish you all the very best in the various events you will be competing in.
Isaac Heywood, James O'Leary, Jimmy Press, Ashton Jefferys, Ashanti Woodley, Emily O'Connell, Amity Wall, Tiannah Sutcliffe, Chaise Corby and Aria Sutherland.
GALA DAY
Mrs Hardaker has asked any parents who attended the Gala Day to please feel free to fill out the google form below for some feedback.
Netball Party
A Netball Party will be held TOMORROW afternoon, Friday 13th October, from 3:15-4:00pm. Please bring a plate of food or a packet of something to share with the other teams. If you are a primary netballer and would like to bring something cold/frozen for the party, Mrs Bridge will have room in the Primary Canteen (primary only). ALL teams are welcome.
Gymnastics
Amity Wall competed in the 2023 National Clubs Carnival for Gymnastics on the Gold Coast in the first week of the holidays. This was her first competition at level 7 and in the level 7 Tamworth gymnastics team. They came 4th overall in vault and 10th overall. What a fantastic outcome competing against 46 clubs from across Australia.
Jamboree
These four St Ed's children, Maddie Noad, Isaac Heywood, Mackenzie Smith and Emily O'Connell, went to Port Macquarie last weekend for the 3 day u12s Northern NSW Jamboree Basketball Development Camp. They had lots of different skill clinics to attend and a number of games to play. All of the participants made a lot of new friends.
Taekwondo
Sienna Constable competed in the 2nd Tamworth Poomsae (Taekwondo patterns) Competition on Friday 22/9/23 in Tamworth. Sienna competed in all 3 events earning herself a Bronze medal in the individual grading, a bronze medal in the synchronised teams event and silver in the individual freestyle event. Congratulations Sienna!
Basketball 2023 Summer Comp
These competitions will resume on the 18th (Wednesday) and 19th (Thursday) of October.
This is due to the Council resurfacing Courts 4, 5 & 6 over the next few weeks.
Cricket
Regos are now open for the upcoming season commencing Saturday 21st October.

The Armidale Diocesan Primary Sports Council is a body representative of the Catholic Education Office, Principals and Sports Coordinators from all Diocesan Primary Schools. The ADPSC offers a pathway for Armidale Diocesan students in most sports.
