Principal Reflections

Dear Parents and Carers,

We hope you all enjoyed a happy, holy Easter break with family and friends. It was wonderful to hear the fun activities that our families were able to engage with over the break.

It was so lovely to be present and part of the beautiful Easter Vigil Mass on Saturday night. The Vigil, is the greatest and most noble of all solemnities and so there is to be only one celebration in each church. The entire celebration of the Easter Vigil must take place during the night, and with that it begins after nightfall and ends before daybreak on the Sunday.

During this joyous celebration, Fr Roel conferred the Sacrament of Confirmation. Mrs Emily Press was one of the seven candidates who was presented with her sponsor Kizzy Pearson to receive the blessed Sacrament.

After the celebration the staff came together to congratulate Emily on being Confirmed as a full member of the Catholic Church with a special morning tea.

Please continue to keep Emily in your prayers over the coming weeks as she continues to work with Deacon Paul and Fr Roel to learn and grow within our Catholic Faith.

Special thanks to our wonderful Parish Priest Fr Roel Llave and Deacon Paul for preparing such a beautiful ceremony.

Until next week,

Keep smiling,

Alison Hatton
