Progressing the Concept Design for our Multi-Purpose Stadium

Moama Anglican Grammar is at a most exciting stage of development.

We are fortunate to have such extensive and contemporary learning spaces which support diverse student learning experiences and enable quality learning program delivery by our staff.

As announced at the start of the year when we positioned the acquisition of Gunbower Estate and our 2024 & Beyond Strategic Priorities publication, the development of an indoor Multi-Purpose Stadium is of the highest priority in our Strategic Planning.

The addition of an indoor Multi-Purpose Stadium will significantly enhance student experience by expanding choice and opportunity through the provision of access to specialist state of the art Physical Education, Sport, Music, and Performing Arts facilities.

This development will also enable Moama Anglican Grammar to establish a large, indoor, all-weather facility which has the capacity to accommodate multiple classes at the same time, in addition to ensuring that we have a functional space which can comfortably house our entire school community for assemblies and special events.

I am most pleased to share that we have engaged the voice and ideas of our staff in the initial design stage to ensure that the design of our Stadium is fit for purpose and positions our school strongly for the future.

During Term 1, site visits to a selection of Multi-Court and Multi-Purpose exemplar facilities have been undertaken by Primary and Secondary staff; an essential step in supporting the finalisation of high-level concept design criteria.

These final design criteria, and the development of a Roadmap for the project have us in a position of readiness to engage an Architect with stadium development experience to guide our next steps and to create our concept design.

In consultation with our School Board, we are committed to keeping our community updated as this most exciting capital development progresses and very much look forward to sharing further progress updates next term.
