Acting Principal Message
Dear Parents, Guardians, and Warrandyte Primary School Community,
As we draw closer to the end of another term, I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude to the individuals and groups who have contributed to the many wonderful achievements of our school community.
Firstly, we extend thanks to Terri, Jade, Maddie, and the Friends of Warrandyte Primary School (FOWPS) team for their dedication and hard work in organising the recent special easter lunch, Hot Cross Bun Drive, and Family Fun Night. These events have not only added joy and excitement to our school calendar but have also strengthened the bonds within our community.
Speaking of the Family Fun Night, I am delighted to report that it was a tremendous success, bringing together families, staff, and students. The fantastic disco was certainly a highlight, and I commend everyone involved for their efforts in making it such a memorable evening.
I would also like to extend my congratulations to all Grade 3 and 5 students for their outstanding efforts in completing the NAPLAN Tests for Literacy and Numeracy. Your hard work and dedication have not gone unnoticed, and we are immensely proud of your achievements.
Last Friday, we had the pleasure of celebrating Harmony Day, where the entire school community came together adorned in vibrant Harmony Day colours and traditional cultural clothing representing different countries. It was a wonderful celebration of diversity, inclusivity, and unity, showcasing the richness of our multicultural community.
We would like to extend our best wishes and hopes for a speedy recovery to Nieta and Greg. We eagerly anticipate their return and look forward to welcoming them back into our school community soon.
As we approach the Easter holiday break, I encourage everyone to take this time to relax, rejuvenate, and spend quality time with loved ones. May it be a safe and joyful time for all.
Wishing you all a safe and happy Easter holiday break.
Kind regards,
Rick Griffiths
Acting Principal
