Student Leadership 

Representing MGSC 

Acknowledging IWD, our 2024 students leaders represented their school at special women in leadership events held at the Victorian Parliament House.

Caitlin Hughes (SRC Captain), Cerin Luke and Ruby Righetti (Middle School Captains) and Gabby Taylor (SRC) attended an event on Tuesday 5 March. 

A week later Olivia Ayyuce and Lucy Webster (College Captains) together with Holly Sweatman (Mackellar House Captain) and Ava Gryszan (Jackson House Captain) attended an official IWD breakfast. 

Pi Day 

The STEAM team led activities to celebrate Pi day on 14 March or 3.14 - bracelet making, a Kahoot, trivia quiz and edible Pi decorated treats. 

Peer to Peer tutoring time 

Senior student leaders initiated and led peer to peer tutoring sessions across all subject areas at lunchtimes over term 1. They have been very successful and well attended. Congratulations to our students.
