Grade 1/2 News

Throughout the past few weeks, students have been learning all about Jesus’ life and childhood. 

Here are some photos of students responding to a Godly play about this.

During Mathematics, students have been learning about place value and working on representing numbers in different ways. 

Some students have been working 2 digit numbers with some moving all the way up to 4 digit numbers.

We have also been working with hundreds charts and created our own puzzles. 

Students loved sharing these puzzles with their friends and using their place value and number knowledge to put them back together again!
