Mathematics at Westgrove!

Most year levels across the school are currently learning about Addition and Subtraction.  We call this mathematical thinking 'Additive Thinking'. The following video gives you an insight into the sequence of learning from beginning to end when learning about Additive Thinking.  We would love for you to view the video and have a discussion with your child around where they are working at the moment.  As always ask your child's classroom teacher if you want any more information about what students are currently learning about in Maths.

Note:  In the video, Kindergarten refers to Prep / Foundation grade level.
