Hindi Reflection

This term, our students have been introduced to the basics of Hindi, including common greetings and short phrases. The Year 7 class is also exploring the Hindi vowels, Colours. As for the Year 8 students, they are delving into sentence structures, colours, and engaging in brief conversations, all while learning about the rich culture and traditions of India and Australia

The highlight of our cultural exploration has been the musical instruments of India. The students’ enthusiasm was palpable when they were introduced to the Sitar, Tabla and Harmonium.

Looking ahead to next term, we’re excited to incorporate Yoga Nidra, along with sleep and relaxation mindfulness activities during lunchtime in E block. Additionally, we’re amid preparing vibrant dance and musical performances for our Harmony Day and Showcase Day celebrations. 🎶
