News and Information from Primary
As we come to the end of Term One we have an opportunity to reflect on what the year has brought so far. We have asked a number of students throughout Primary to share a reflection on some of the key events that have taken place:
New Buildings and Play Spaces
I am looking forward to our new equipment and classrooms that are being built. It will be amazing for all of us to come together and enjoy these buildings. I'm also super excited for our new basketball courts to be built so that we can have a new court for the primary school that the kids will use heaps.
Misha
Athletics Carnival
What I liked about the athletics carnival is how we all come together as a community and cheered each other on during the events. I enjoyed watching kids from different classes and age groups supporting one another throughout the day.
Ruby
Bluff 2 Boat Ramp
A sea of pink spread among runners with 130 members of the DCS Community running in pink to take out the title of the school with the most participants for the second year in a row.
Ezra
Dedication Service
Our whole school, Kinder to Year 8, gathered in the JILOA Centre to dedicate the year to God and thank him for everything He's done for us. We sang worship songs and told stories about all He's done for us. As a school we declared that Jesus is Lord of all.
Molly
Easter Service
At our Easter Service we came together as a whole school, Kinder through to Year 8, to learn about the Easter story of how Jesus died for our sins and rose on the third day. We heard the story of Jesus from Palm Sunday through to Jesus returning to Heaven. We also got to participate in getting hot cross buns for lunch.

What an amazing start to the year and we look forward to what is to come. Thank you for your continued support and partnership. DCS is an incredible community to be part of.
