Human Powered Racing Update

On behalf of all the students and the teachers of the Human Powered Racing Team, an enormous thanks goes out to the entire Malvern Primary School community, for their support of our recent fundraising efforts. 

This was once again, a fantastic example of the whole school, especially the students, rallying behind each other for an extremely worthwhile cause. 

As part of our “Wacky Hair” donations, raffles, bake sale and sausage sizzle (the day certainly had everything) we were able to raise $3,918, to go towards the purchase of our race trike, which we are calling “SPITFIRE”. 

To the team themselves, as well as the parents whoassisted with the bake sale, or cooking sausages for the sausage sizzle, your help on the day is certainly very much appreciated. 

A huge shout out to Miss Davey, Mrs Lee and Mr Bugeja for their efforts in organising, as well as the remainder of the Grade 5 team, for their support of their colleagues. These days aren’t possible without help from local businesses and we would like to thank “The Butcher’s Club” and “Baker’s Delight Malvern” for their support and generous donations.
