Indonesian Day

Next Wednesday, 13th of September we will be celebrating Indonesian Day!

Students are also encouraged to come dressed in red and white to celebrate the occasion.

All students will participate in a range of activities during a full-day program provided by the incursion company 'Baguskan'. The cost of this incursion was included in the Parent Payment for 2023 so there is no additional cost to families for student participation in the day. Workshops will include, traditional musical instruments, dancing, and a puppet performance. The program will vary slightly for different grades across the school.

Parents are welcome to attend the whole school performance from 2.30 till 3.30 pm, which will incorporate the dance and music the students have learned in the workshops.

We look forward to a wonderful day! Terima Kasih

NPS Family Camping Weekend

The Parent Ambassadors are organising another social camping weekend for our school community.

The location is Big Hill Campground, a short drive inland from Lorne.  It is a basic, unpowered campground with a bush toilet and fireplaces, with tent sites as well as a few sites for camper trailers/caravans.  Dates are 24-26 November 2023, and you can book your site at:

https://www.parks.vic.gov.au/places-to-see/parks/great-otway-national-park/where-to-stay/big-hill-campground

The plan is to spend some time at the beach and maybe do a waterfall walk, and of course, get to know our school friends a little better!  Be quick, there are only 13 sites available!  For further information, contact Lis on 0422992843.

NPS Colour Run 2023 - Fundraising Portal is Live!

We are very excited to be running our Colour Run once again this year.

The NPS Colour Run is scheduled for Friday 6th October and will take place in the afternoon. More information on the running of the day and a call out for color-blasting volunteers will be sent out closer to the day. Parent/Carer/Family spectators will also be welcome on the day.

All students have now received their sponsorship booklets and info page and are now invited to create their secure online profile at www.australianfundraising.com.au to raise funds for the school's Colour Run.

Thank you to our student fundraisers that have already started raising funds in their online portals!

Big prizes are up for grabs! Raise at least $10 for our Colour Run and your child will receive a selection of awesome prizes from our fundraiser partner, Australian Fundraising.

Although we encourage all families to participate in this fundraiser, all students will be invited to participate in the Colour Run on the day regardless if they have raised funds for this event or not.
