2024 Planning

Many thanks to Stephen Roche for being Acting Principal last week while I was on leave, enjoying some time with my family in a warmer climate for a few days! It is reassuring to know that the school is in such capable hands during such times.

Book Parade

Please see the What's Happening page for photos of the Book Parade from last Monday, which was a fabulous success once again! Thank you to all for getting involved, including our wonderful staff who went above and beyond once again, particularly Mrs Robinson-Trunchbull, who I'm told cut a formidable figure hosting the parade.

Father's Day Morning Tea

Thank you to the organisers of the recent Father's Day Morning tea. I'm told there was a large crowd in attendance with Mr Roche and team working very hard to make coffees fo as many people as they could manage! These community events are one of the great things about the Robbie Mac community, it's great that our Dads had the opportunity to be in the spotlight on this occasion!

Disco Fever!

Thanks again for Elizabeth, Kim and team for your work in organising the recent disco, which was a spectacular success. I'm not sure how the DJ, Mat, had the energy to bounce around seemingly without a moment's rest for two hours straight, but he did a great job of keeping everyone involved. Without wanting to sound too much like a boring old Principal, I was very impressed with the behaviour and attitude of all students in attendance, a real credit to our school and our families!

We are well aware that many in our community are currently experiencing significant financial hardship at present. In keeping with our strong commitment to inclusion at Roberts McCubbin Primary School, if your family is finding payment for a school event to be prohibitive, please contact myself or Business Manager Melissa for a confidential discussion of options.
