This week, the senior class had their second lesson with Muhktar at the Palace Martial Arts studio in Hamilton.  In our writing sessions this week, the students chose to write either a recount of the sessions or short information report about Taekwondo.  More reports/recounts will be in next week's newsletter

Tae Kwon Do by Jack QUINN

When we first got to Tae Kwon Do, we had to take off our shoes and socks so we wouldn’t kick and hurt anyone. Then we learnt three stances the first one ‘ready stance, attention stance and horse-riding stance’.

When we got on to the mat, we had to run to our partner which was on the other side of us and give them a high five. Then we had to stop in the middle and do rocket jumps, you had to jump into the air and clap three times.

Then we did the frog kick it was hard at first but then I got the hang of it. Over the two lessons I had fun and learnt a lot about Tae Kwon Do.
