Book Week Celebrations
‘Book Week’ is a celebration held each year across Australia with the aim of bringing children and books together. This years theme was“Read, Grow, Inspire”
To celebrate Camelot Rise Primary School students were encouraged to dress up as a character from one of their favourite stories.
STEM based Specialist Day
Recently students participated in a STEM based specialist day. Activities included calculating standing long jump on various planets, fingerprinting, drawing, Eiffel Tower model and French Inventions plus they created and played a musical instrument.
Waverley East Sports Association Track and Field Day
Well done to the 49 competitors from Years 3-6 who attended the WESA District Athletics
carnival last Thursday at the Bill Sewart Athletics Track. It was great to see so many students participate in a variety of track and field events.
Congratulations to the following students who have qualified for the Monash Waverley Division Athletics on Thursday 5th October, Thomas, Isla, Daniel, Dallas, Paressa, Dilmi and Michelle.

Year 6 Camp
The Year 6 camp is under way in Lorne. This campers will be undertaking many exciting activities, including surfing, hiking, life saving, and water safety skills. They are off to a great start!
Maths Masterclass
Students from schools around the area attended a VHAP Maths Masterclass at Camelot Rise Primary School last week.
