Coffee and Connect - Farewell Mrs Baker

As it will be our beloved Mrs Renee Baker’s last day with us, our ‘Coffee and Connect’ gathering will have a two-fold purpose this week: An opportunity to say goodbye to Mrs Baker, and of course to catch up with each other. (OK... so it will actually be three-fold if you count drinking tea or coffee!)

If you’ve never been before, or you are a regular, we’d love for you to join us in the church café on Friday morning from 8:30am to 10:00am. (Just come through the courtyard.) This is a great opportunity to meet people in our community and make new friends! It can be comforting and encouraging to hear each other’s stories. Toddlers are welcome! (We have a small playground. You just need to keep an eye on your little one(s) for safety reasons.) I look forward to seeing you soon!

GSPV Music Night

Feel like a night out filled with fun and laughter... while at the same time supporting a worthwhile cause? Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Para Vista is hosting a Music night on Saturday 2nd August at 7:30pm in the church hall. All proceeds from the evening will be going to Lutheran Care Family Zone.  

Tickets: Adults $10, Students $5 U12 free.

Term 3 Art Class

Does your child love drawing and or story telling? 

This term at Growing Sunflowers Art Studio we are looking at story stones, graphic novels, and creating their own games/TV story. 

The story stones will be published into their own book which will feature them as the illustrators, and we will get printed for students to keep.

Celebrating 50 Years of Salisbury Lutheran Kindergarten

One of our Connected Schools partners is celebrating a special milestone - 50 years of kindergarten! The celebration will take place on Sunday August 10th at 10am, and all members of our community are warmly invited to attend.

This is a wonderful opportunity to honour the kindergarten’s rich history and the strong connections that continue to shape our Connected Schools partnership today.

KAPS - This Sunday!

Just a reminder that our next KAPS gathering is this Sunday, 27th July!  A great opportunity for some inside fun where it will be warm and cozy.
