Donations for Vinnies and the Brigidine Asylum Seekers Project
Students and families are invited to donate toiletries, non-perishable foods and gift vouchers for Vinnies and the Brigidine Asylum Seekers Project. These contributions offer hope and dignity to individuals and families doing it tough, embodying the Gospel message: “Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me” (Matthew 25:40).
We thank our school community for their generosity and support of our work in this space. It makes a significant difference and we are so grateful, thank you!
Donations can be brought to TA, left at the College Office or with Mrs Chapman.
Time Capsule 2000 - 2025
We have delivered and shared the contributions and contents of the 2000 Time Capsule which was opened earlier this year. We hope the families have enjoyed reminiscing and sharing what was discovered. We are hoping to rebury our time capsule and our current students and staff will be providing contributions for this. If you would like to add a contribution, please contact Rach Chapman at the College. These items will become a treasured snapshot of our community’s spirit in 2025.

Kyabram Bowls Club Car Park Reminder
A reminder to families that parking is not available at the Kyabram Bowls Club Car Park when the Bowlers Parking Only Today sign is displayed.
Young children walking and running through the area creates a safety risk when bowls club members are driving through and backing out of the car park.
We appreciate the Bowls Club allowing families to use the carpark on non-bowling days and we ask all families to please adhere to the sign when it is out and find alternative parking options. Thank you for your assistance.
Changes to Social Media Age Restrictions
From 10th December 2025, social media age restrictions will be introduced in Australia to help protect young Australians.
Under these new rules, social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, X (Twitter) and YouTube will be required to take reasonable steps to stop children under 16 from creating or keeping an account.
The changes aim to reduce the pressures and risks that come with social media use, including exposure to harmful content and design features that encourage excessive screen time.
This is not a ban, but rather a delay to social media use until the age of 16. There will be no penalities for parents or young people, however, social media companies may face consequences if they fail to comply.
You can find the latest information on the eSafety website: www.esafety.gov.au
The eSafety Commissioner has also prepared an eight-step guide and action plan to help families prepare for the transition. Find out more at the eSafety Get-ready Guide for under-16s.
Familes are also encouraged to read this helpful and independent guide by the Co-Founder and Director of SchoolTV, James Wilson. It is being recognised by many as a key resource in understanding the new regulations:
