PE Week

Last week, we celebrated PE Week as a school. This is always a highlight of our school calendar in Term 4 where we embrace physical activity and celebrate the amazing things our bodies can do. Events like our whole school health hustles, Staff vs Seniors netball game, scavenger hunt and colouring competition gave all our children a chance to use their bodies in different ways and to think about how they can be more physically active. A huge thank you to Miss Karly Bartlett for her hard work and passion in bringing PE Week to life and for coordinating our staff team who managed to win the Staff vs Students netball game against the very tough opposition of our senior children.

Well done to all of our children for their participation and enthusiasm throughout this special week.

Connected Athletics

Another big part of our PE Week each year is the Connected Schools athletics competition, the ‘Endeavour Cup’. Last Wednesday, fifty of our Year 3-6 children competed on behalf of St Paul, demonstrating persistence, courage and commitment as they participated in a range of different events. It was a close end to the day with St Paul coming second! This year’s winner was Good Shepherd Lutheran School Para Vista.

Thank you again to Miss Karly Bartlett for coordinating, to all of our volunteers who helped make it possible for our children to compete and to all of our children for giving their best and representing St Paul proudly. Well done!

Carols in the Park

A reminder that next Sunday (November 30) is the Church’s Carols in the Park from 5-7pm. Lots of preparation has been happening and we are very excited to be able to join in this celebration of community and the Christmas season. Our Junior and Senior Choir children will be participating in this year’s event and we look forward to hearing them share their beautiful singing with our community.  We hope to see you there!
