Assistant Principal 

A huge congratulations to all of our Grade 6 graduates, who celebrated the completion of their primary school journey with family and friends last week. It was a beautiful evening that would not have been possible without the dedication and hard work of the Meadows staff. Everyone looked amazing, and the night was a true reflection of the strong Meadows spirit.

We would also like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the students who received awards on the night, including those recognised for academic achievement, the 2025 Dux, and recipients of specialist awards.

Grade 6 Dux Award 

The 2026 Meadows Primary School Dux Award was proudly presented to Mariam of 56D. Mariam demonstrated outstanding academic achievement across all learning areas throughout 2026. She consistently showed a strong dedication to her learning by always striving to do her best and actively seeking feedback from her teachers to further improve.

STEM Award

The STEM Award was presented to Haala, who consistently embodies the school values and expected behaviours during STEM sessions at Meadows. Haala demonstrated creativity when working with digital technologies and showed an inclusive approach by supporting and encouraging the learning of others. 

Physical Education Award

This award is presented to Mohammed, who consistently lives our school values on the sports field and when representing Meadows in interschool sport. Mohammed demonstrates excellent sportsmanship and serves as a positive role model for others.

Auslan Award 

Zimal is the recipient of the Auslan Award in recognition of their commitment to learning and using Auslan. Zimal consistently demonstrates enthusiasm, respect, and a positive attitude during lessons, showing a growing confidence in communicating through Auslan. 

Visual Arts Award

Ayah is the recipient of the Art Award in recognition of her creativity and dedication to the visual arts. She consistently demonstrates imagination, skill, and a willingness to explore new techniques in the art classroom.

Principals Award for Responsibilty

Our school value of Responsibility is important in developing our students into productive and positive members of our community. From ensuring we are resource ready to being an upstander, responsibility cover many different aspects of school life. Tonight's award goes to a student who has always been responsible – both with peers and adults – and has stood out as a role model to others. This award goes to Abdallah.

Principals Award for Resilience 

Our school value of resilience ensures that our students develop skills in withstanding difficult situations, from tricky tests to challenging conversations, and to bounce back after setbacks. From learning to wait their turn to repairing and restoring with peers after conflict, our grade 6’s have done amazing job at overcoming obstacles in daily life. The resilience award recipent is Osman who has shown incredible resilience during his time at Meadows.
