🖥️ Cyber Safety: Staying Safe Online!

The internet is an amazing place to learn, play, and connect — but it’s important to stay safe while we’re online. Here are some tips for our students (and reminders for families too!):

1. Keep personal information private. Never share your full name, address, school name, or passwords online.

2. Be kind and respectful. Treat others online the same way you would in person. If you see something unkind, tell a trusted adult.

3. Ask before you click. If something pops up on the screen or someone asks you to download a game or share a photo, check with a parent or teacher first.

4. Use strong passwords. Create passwords that are hard to guess — and never share them with friends.

5. Tell an adult if something feels wrong. If you see or experience something online that makes you feel upset, uncomfortable, or confused, speak up right away.
