From the Principal

We would like to acknowledge the original custodians of this land

and waterways and pay our respects to the Elders past and

present and emerging, for they hold the memories, the traditions,

the culture and hopes of Indigenous Australia.

" Every child matters. Every moment counts!"

Dear Families

Thank you for taking the time to read our exciting sections in our newsletter.

Una Giornata Splendida.

Grazie! Grazie Signora Di Camillo! What a fantastic time we had throughout the whole day. We started with an incursion that took us on a hunting expedition to search for a secret ingredient and travelled around Italy on our vespas.  That lead us onto class activities including Bocce, The Leaning Tower of Pisa craft and having delicious food that pleased our senses. Signora Di Camillo will go into further detail regarding all the fun activities that took place.  We are blessed with Signora's talents and great energy in making our day a memorable one.  Grazie Mille!

Fathers and Special Friends' Breakfast and Stall

At St Anthony's we always celebrate this special event with great vigor and enthusiasm and upkeeping the traditions well and truly alive with our wonderful community.

It was fantastic to have so many children at school early with their dads, grandads or special person, enjoying the breakfast that looked delicious. Our thanks go out to the PFA and the wonderful parents especially  Naobh, Rebecca, Caresse, Tricia, Iskra, Johanna and Hannah R as well as all their helpers. Your delicious  breakfast was enjoyed by everyone.

The children also enjoyed the opportunity to purchase their special gifts which they could give to their dads, grandads or special friends with great pride and pleasure. Thank you to Mrs Kathy Sansalone and Mrs Liz Martello for the great selection of items to choose from. Thank you also to Tina, Joahanna, Emery and Flora for helping sell the goods on the stall this morning.  There was certainly something for everyone.

MACSSIS Surveys

All families will receive an email inviting from MACS ORIMA Research to take part in the annual survey. Families will be emailed a code and PIN to access the survey platform. These surveys allow parents the opportunity to answer the questionnaire  into school performance and culture.  The Staff and Year 4 - 6 students also take part in the survey and have their opportunity to have their voices heard.

Footy Fun Day

The last day of school, Friday 14 September,  is our usual Footy Fun Day where everyone is encouraged to come to school wearing the colours of your favourite football team.  All codes are welcome.

Yours sincerely

Margaret Carlei

Principal

God who is good,

you give us special people in our lives

who can help us to know your goodness.

Thank you for the gift of our fathers.

Help them to be like you in all they do.

We make our prayer in Jesus’ name.  Amen.
