Book Week 2025
A Week of Adventure and Imagination
A heartfelt thank you to all staff and students who helped make this year’s Book Week a resounding success! This year’s theme, Book an Adventure, inspired a vibrant program filled with fun, challenges, and creativity for our entire school community.
From start to finish, the week was packed with exciting activities designed to reignite a love of reading and storytelling across all year levels.
Highlights included:
PCG Quizzes: Throughout the week, Pastoral Care Groups tested their literary knowledge and critical thinking in a series of engaging quizzes.
Storytelling and Illustration Magic in the Library: Monday kicked off with the soothing tones of Mr Walley, who captivated students with some of his favourite tales in the Library. Later, the storytelling magic continued with a special Illustration Workshop hosted by Perth author and illustrator Peter Cheong, where students discovered how stories come to life through art during a creative lunchtime session.
Tuesday’s Double Feature: Year 8 students embarked on a thrilling Scavenger Hunt, followed by the Big Book Time Quiz, expertly coordinated by our Prefects and Ms Purnell.
Shakespearean Rap Battle: Wednesday saw the debut of a bold new event: our first-ever Shakespearean Rap Battle! Students went head-to-head, blending classic literature with modern flair. Huge thanks to Mr O’Brien and Mr Allen for bringing this brilliant idea to life.
Mindful Reading in the Park: Thursday offered a moment of mindful meditation, as students gathered in Centenary Park for a peaceful lunchtime read.
Creative Finale: On Friday, students swapped books for Play-Doh, crafting imaginative versions of beloved literary characters to wrap up the week.
None of these events would be possible without the incredible support of the TC community. A special shout-out to our dedicated English and Library staff, whose enthusiasm and teamwork ensured every activity ran smoothly.
We’re already looking forward to next year’s celebration. Until then, keep reading and keep adventuring!

Enrolments
As we move forward in finalising placements for Years 4, 6, and 7 for 2027. We want to remind our current families with younger siblings who are yet to enrol to take action as soon as possible. Securing a spot for your child early is essential to avoid any potential disappointment, as spaces are limited and in high demand. We encourage you to reach out and complete the initial application online, ensuring that your family continues to be part of our vibrant school community. Your child's educational journey is important to us, and we look forward to welcoming them!
Enrolment Fees
In seeking to fulfil a ‘Spirit of Stewardship’ in effectively managing school resources, the College continually examines all aspects of fees, funding, charges and expenses. In such a large school this is an ongoing challenge. As part of this ongoing analysis, comparisons to like schools are also considered. After many years of no adjustment, the College has decided to adjust the Enrolment Fees for incoming students.
The Enrolment Fees for students where the fee is paid on or after 1 January 2026 will change as follows:
From 1 January 2026 the Enrolment Fee will increase to $3,000. This will include TOBA Membership. For students currently at the College and those who have paid the Enrolment Fee prior to 1 January 2026, the TOBA Membership fee has been and will continue to be charged in Year 12.
There will no longer be a sibling discount applied to the Enrolment Fee, i.e. the Enrolment Fee for all students (including siblings) will be $3,000.
As previously stated, the College is making these adjustments subsequent to a comparison with other similar schools and after consideration of the impact on parents. It should be noted that the College’s Enrolment Fees for a first child enrolled, and siblings is considerably lower than most PSA schools.
Parents of children currently at the College who want to pay the current Enrolment Fee for siblings at the current fee (for siblings) of $1,315 will need to complete the enrolment form and pay the required fee before the end of this year. Parents wanting to do this should email the College’s Registrar registrar@ trinity.wa.edu.au requesting the Enrolment Form.
The offer of enrolling siblings in this manner is subject to a successful interview process after payment of the Enrolment Fee. As such, the College reserves the right to reject the application and refund the fee should it be considered that the student is best not enrolled at the College.

Your generous donation of any of the following items will be very much appreciated:

Tampons
Menstrual cups
Period underwear
Incontinence aids
We have placed 4 boxes around the College:

Our aim is to assist the Share Dignity Mission by ensuring that everyone is afforded the dignity in life that so many of us take for granted. From all the Wellbeing Committee we thank you for your support.
QCE Awards
We have entered our Year 4 and TCEC group into the CEWA QCE Awards this year for the 'Small Tabs, Big Impact' project the boys have dedicated themselves to this year.
We’d need your vote! Don’t forget to share the link with your families, friends, and students because they can vote too for the People’s Choice Award. Every vote helps celebrate the dedication and hard work of our students!
