Careers & Transitions

Hancock Iron Ore Remote Operations Centre

Year 9 and 10 Student Excrusion

Our students recently visited the Hancock Iron Ore Remote Operations Centre (ROC), where they gained valuable insight into the wide range of employment opportunities within the mining industry. They also had the chance to try hands-on activities and hear inspiring stories from Mr Dale Harris (COO) and Jaimie Roberts (Superintendent Mine Execution and 2021 Olympian) about their journeys in the sector.

At Trinity, we value showing our students what’s possible beyond the College gates. With the guidance of our Careers and Transition Coordinator, Mr Kernutt, students can begin to see what’s achievable after school and what they can start working towards right now.
