Book Week

The St Louis' students, staff and whole school community celebrated Book Week in style over the last week and I wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone involved. Well done!   

Hearing students talking about their favourite book characters, enjoying stories at the book picnic, learning about authors and illustrators in classrooms, sharing stories they've written themselves, developing their own literacy skills, solving book puzzles and completing the scavenger hunt - what a week it was! The positivity about reading and the enthusiasm for books and stories was a delight to see. 

Our staff are a dedicated bunch who wholeheartedly supported the events of the week and particularly the Book Week dress up day.  See some of their wonderful efforts below.

Books truly can take us on an adventure and I hope this week has inspired our students and families to enjoy more good books. Happy reading!
