The care, safety and wellbeing of children and young people

is a fundamental responsibility of all within our school.

St Louis de Montfort is Celebrating 60 years

Happy weekend families,

This week marks the halfway point of Term 3 with only 4 weeks left before Term 3 holidays.  It has been an action packed term and this week was no exception.  It was amazing to see so much joy and community spirit at our Book week dress up day on Wednesday and the Melbourne weather agreed that it was a day to be celebrated.  Thank you to all of our parents who attended and supported the event.

Throughout book week there has been many activities including our book character hunt and interactive online author sessions, thank you to Mrs Healy for organising these for our students.

Reconciliation

This weekend our Year threes have their reconciliation commitment mass leading into their Sacrament of reconciliation on the 18th September.  Please keep our year threes students in your prayers.

Drop off and Pick Ups

Thank you so much to our parent who have responded so positively to our request for assistance with maintaining a safe and respectful environment in the many drop off points around our school.  Without your support in these endeavours  it takes our wonderful education staff away from their important roles of running our school

Please remember to:

  • Follow all road rules and signage in and around the school
  • Use designated drop-off and pick-up areas only
  • Be patient and considerate of other road users and our neighbours
  • Follow the directions of staff on duty in the carpark, who are there to ensure your children’s safety

Mrs Douglas Leave

Mrs Marylene Douglas our lovely Religious Education Leaders will leave us for the next 10 weeks as she embarks on a remarkable solo journey along the Camino de Santiago.  That is approx. 800km solo, we are sure she will come back with many highlights from this trip that she will be able to share with our community.  We wish her safe and happy travels.

Fathers Day

On September 5 we have our annual Fathers Day breakfast and we would love to see all of our Dads or special friends at the breakfast to celebrate.  Please book below if you would like to join us.

Fathers Day stall will be held on Tuesday 2 September there will be communications to follow in regards to parent helpers for both events.
